Discovering Your Life Path

Are you at a turning point in your life?

Many of us are as we head into the new year wondering whether to keep doing what we’ve been doing in the past or is it time to take the plunge and try something new and expansive?

So what’s it going to be?

One of the best ways to keep to your life’s path (even if you don’t know what it is) is to do this process…

  1. Close your eyes and take a breath
  2. Imagine yourself in 6 months time doing what you’ve been doing
  3. Continue the timeline for 1 year, 5 years, 10 years, etc
  4. Imagine yourself in 6 months time doing something different
  5. Continue the timeline for 1 year, 5 years, 10 years, etc
  6. Imagine yourself in 6 months time on your life’s path (even if you don’t know what it is)
  7. Continue the timeline as you have done in steps 3 and 5
  8. Compare all timelines and do what feels the most fun and expansive to you.

The trick with this process is to connect with the energy of your life’s path because if you are really honest most of us don’t have any idea what that looks like in reality.

We may have an idea what profession we would like to work in or what part of the world or even who we would like to spend time with, yet the more we connect with the energy in step 6, the more new and interesting opportunities open up to us.

Things that we never thought about before or never even knew existed show up unexpectedly and it is our job to recognise if the energy matches step 6.

If it does, let go of all expectations and dive right in. I remind you to let go of expectations because the first few times you connect with your life path’s energy, your reality may go a little topsy turvy. The way you think your path will go will get all curvy and you may start to question what is going on!

Everything you thought you wanted in life may not be the case at all. Yet it will be alright if you stick to following the energy.

The previous sentence was difficult for me to do for quite a while. My cognitive mind always thought that maybe, just maybe, it knew better. And guess what, it didn’t and every path I chose would take me right back to the original choice! Talk about going around in circles.

Now it’s time to ask your higher self to download the energy of the lesson (if any) you are supposed to learn and complete it for you. This then gives you the space to choose for you. Choose your life’s path.

Trust that your life’s path will guide you to achieve more than you could imagine in your life.

Trust that your life’s path will allow you more happiness and abundance in your life.

Trust that your life’s path needs and is looking for you, just as much as you are looking for it.

The energy of your life’s path gives you the motivation you are desiring to do things that you don’t enjoy. It gets you out of bed in the morning. It gives you extra time to spend with your loved ones AND get all your work done.

The energy is there to support you, guide you and comfort you as you contribute to your life, the lives of others and the energy of the collective.

It may feel a little scary at first, but with a little support and hand holding, you will find that your life turns out better than you could ever have imagined.

Wouldn’t that be amazing?

Being surprised by your own life?

What would you do?

Who would you be?

And the funny thing is, is that the part of you scrambling for those answers is not the part that will be able to give you the answers.

It’s the part that has been keeping you stuck. The part that lives in fear and the part that thinks it knows exactly what you want. Everything you want except fulfillment and happiness.

At the moment I’m in a cafe I didn’t know existed until today in a town I didn’t know I was going to be in and writing something I didn’t plan on writing.

Yet in this moment, this is exactly where I am meant to be.

Do I know why? No.

Does it matter? No.

Am I being productive? Yes.

Am I happy? Yes.

Am I in the energy of my life’s path? Absolutely!

I’m excited as to where my life is going to take me next…

Are you coming with me? I hope so.
