Living To Your Strengths And Talents

Isn’t it great when you’re living to your strengths and talents?

I’m sure you’ve had a glimpse of it when you simply have a fantastic day and life flows.

That’s the time where you are in the zone of your strengths and talents.

I had a wonderful night last night catching up with an amazing friend of ours and listening to an outdoor concert.

And what has this got to do with living to your strengths?

Well, as we spread out our picnic, our friend opened a very simple yet well presented array of food and it amazed me yet again how our friend can make a picnic seem like a magical moment in our lives.

It came to me as I was watching his ease, that he didn’t even realise what a talent he has with presenting and creating food for others to enjoy.

He didn’t even realise that others struggle with presenting with flair and grace.

He thought that it was something that everyone could do and really didn’t quite get it when I said that not everyone can do what he does… especially me!

At this point in his life our friend is looking for something to do… something to create… something where he can get satisfaction and a sense of purpose and when this occurs in people’s life, look at what is easy to do.

People tend to over complicate what they think they “should” be doing in life.

And instead of looking at what is easy for them… what their strong suits are…

They start thinking and analysing and tie themselves up in knots.

Is this what you do?

Or do you work to your strengths?

Do you live your life with ease and if you have difficulties in an area, you simply ask someone else to help… Click To Tweet

Life would be so much easier if we realised that we contribute to each other by doing what we are good at and offering our services to others who require a little assistance in that area.

Now this doesn’t mean that we neglect areas where we don’t excel. We can develop those too yet what if we could do it in a way that would enhance our ability.

What I mean by this is…

  • What if we could stay open to learning?
  • What if we could enjoy what we are good at?
  • What if we were good at things we didn’t even realise?
  • What if we acknowledged that we have hidden talents and strengths that are ready to be awakened?

If we did this and we asked ourselves every morning…

Who am I today and what amazing adventures will I be having?

Do you think that maybe we will stay open to our strengths being shown to us?

I really hope so… and I trust that our lovely friend will one day realise how phenomenal his talents are.

If you’re confused about your talents or don’t even know what they are, book a consultation with me today and we’ll discover them together.

Loving you… Loving life…
